2020 Lee BIA Parade of Homes ™
Dates:  February 22 & 23, February 29 & March 1, March 7 & 8

ELIGIBILITY

• Your company must be a current Lee BIA member.
• Entrants must submit the online 2020 Parade of Homes™ registration/participation agreement by December 29th, 2019. On the form you will be able to provide your method of payment, either check or credit card. An invoice will be sent to you and must be paid by January 10, 2020.
• Projects must be located within Lee, Hendry or Glades Counties or North of Vanderbilt Beach Road in Collier County. If your model is located in Charlotte County, you will be asked to also enter the Charlotte-DeSoto Parade of Homes™.

Important 2020 Parade of Homes Dates:

• Entries Open:December 3, 2019
• Registration/Participation Agreement Deadline:Friday, December 20, 2019
• Deadline for All Model Entry Information & Uploads: Thursday, January 9, 2020
• Payment Deadline:Friday, January 10, 2020

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration Includes

• Inclusion in The News-Press Parade of Homes™ Special Section (110,000+ inserts printed & distributed 2/23/19 & 3/2/2019 within Lee County)
• News-Press Parade of Homes Virtual Edition – Year-long exposure in a virtual edition on the Lee BIA Parade of Homes website.
• News-Press Ad campaign to include Mobile and Desktop ads, Display ads, Feature Stories and Social Media.
• Mobile First Impressions and Real Estate Preview Ad and Advertorial in Naples Daily News.
• Parade of Homes Website Exposure – Marketing your model all year-long on the LeeParade.com website.
• Increased Exposure – All model information and company logo linked to your website resulting in an invaluable increase in page views, improved SEO and credibility to your models.
• PARADE CRAZE App – Mobile app for all Listings, Directions, Photos, etc…
• Parade of Homes marketing on all Lee BIA social media outlets, local television and radio before and during Parade activities. Further details to come.
• All qualifying models are entered for judging – winners will be announced at the Parade of Homes Awards Event.

Final Registration Deadline: December 19, 2018

Go to leeparade.com/register for the 2020 Parade of Homes Registration/Participation Form. For each model you plan to enter, you will need the name of the model and the model address to complete the Registration form.

Your online Registration/Participation agreement form must be submitted by Friday, December 20, 2019. Once submitted, you will then receive your username and password to login to the entries site within 24-48 business hours of submitting your agreement as well as an invoice for the entries you have committed to.

ALL ENTRY INFORMATION and MODEL MARKETING MATERIALS must be submitted and uploaded at https://2020.leeparade.com/ by Thursday, January 9, 2020 and Final Payment by Friday, January 10, 2020.

ENTRY DETAILS

• All entry information is submitted electronically using this website.
• You cannot add a property that has not been approved in the original participation agreement.
• If you need to add a property not specified in the participation agreement, a new agreement must be submitted by Friday, December 20, 2019.
• After submitting an approved property, you can add your Merit Awards nominees by going to the dashboard and clicking on the submit Merit Awards button.

Signage
Builders will be provided directional signage for use only within specified communities (1 model and 3 directional signs). Signs are to be picked up from the Lee BIA office prior to the Parade. Parade builders will be notified of the date for pickup.

Mapping
All model addresses must map out on Google; if not, you must provide coordinates so that Lee BIA can provide appropriate directions. See mapping tool in model entry form.

Website Live
Note: You are submitting to the back end of our website. All 2020 information will go live on February 7, 2020. Your information will be held in “pending status” until that date.

Awards Event
2020 Lee BIA Parade of Homes Awards Event is TBD. Details to come.

JUDGING INFORMATION

Judging Day
Homes must be complete on judging day including landscaping, all surfaces finished, and fixtures installed. Homes not presented in such condition on Judging Day will not be judged. No refunds will be provided.

Dates/Times:
January 31, 2020 – Judging will take place Friday, January 31, 2020 (approx. 8:30-4:30pm). Your estimated route schedule will be shared via email by Wednesday, January 29.  Be sure to provide any special instructions/restrictions upon submission as judging dates/times cannot be changed once scheduled.

Special Instructions
Keep in mind that we may not be aware of instructions related to the community/model. For example, no entry after certain times, gate codes, prior gate access, high-rise restrictions, etc. We need to be made aware of all and any special instructions upon submission.

Guidelines:
Each entry will be judged on its own merit by highly qualified impartial judges.

Time:
Judging times are assigned according to a routing schedule and cannot be changed.  All entrants will be notified via email of the approximate time the judges will arrive at their site.  No judging appointments will be rescheduled. Judging will be based upon a scale of 1-5 points in the following:

Exterior:
Overall architectural design; Quality of workmanship; Outdoor planning-landscaping, decks, retaining walls, walks, pool, lighting

Interior:
Livability/Function-spaces planned for traffic flow, floor plan; Kitchen, Breakfast-functionality, cabinetry, special features; Family area-well planned, proportional for home; Master bedroom-design, special features, closets; Master bathroom-design, special features, overall appeal; Guest bedrooms/bathrooms-design, special features, closets; Quality of Workmanship: Installation of fixtures, tile, placement of mirrors, trim, cabinets, and countertops.
